SOMATIC: of or relating to the body
Your body is a beautiful, wonderfully complex creation of God and it has an innate wisdom. This intelligence can help you access your health and vitality, which is present in you regardless of any illness, whether emotional, physical, or spiritual.
In somatic healing – which I offer as a component of spiritual care sessions when appropriate for the need – I gently facilitate a process of helping you to anchor into your body, centering your attention there to receive your inner wisdom regarding a specific focus or need for healing in your life. We use the tools of therapeutic imagery and dialogue, guided self-inquiry, and this overarching somatic focus to uncover the deeper story behind your challenge or issue. Finally, we bring those revelations of the deeper need and root-cause issue before God through Jesus, as I offer healing prayer on your behalf.
This practice encompasses inner child healing, working with emotions, exploring physical pain, transforming blockages or resistance in your life, and addressing any healing need or intention you carry.
The process is body-led, empowering, and centered in compassion. It teaches you that rather than being in a constant state of conflict or stagnation within yourself and in your life, you can work with your body and emotions, in the presence of God, toward healing, wholeness, and peace.

It felt so nurturing to do a somatic healing with Tiffany. She provided space for me to feel at ease and able to do this healing work. I didn’t know what to expect at all and I was surprised how spending such a small amount of time left me feeling so nurtured and also seemed to give me some more clarity into my mind and body. It has been months since the session and I still think back to the images I received during it and continue to reap the benefits. I highly recommend Tiffany and her services!
