Keep believing in love (renewal, wholeness, fulfillment, embrace, care). When you’re longing and your hands are empty-handed. When life burns, when it hurts, when your heart aches, when it’s been years and you’re still waiting. When it’s the season of harvest and you’re still in a fallow season regarding something that really matters to you.
This is what it means to hope.
Do this with the longings you don’t tell anyone you’ve been holding deep in your heart. And also with your questions that don’t have answers. Let your hope be like even just a tiny flame that stays lit in the dark, quiet corners of your life. Your hope will be like a promise that more light (love!) is coming. That life is a series of seasons. That the tide must turn again, even if just for a moment.
Love is a force. In our common language, we’ve diminished the meaning of it and applied it to trivial things, but love is the most extraordinary, transformative, alchemizing energy there is. It is life; it survives death. You are love.
Believe (hope!) that love will burst into your life like the bright surprise of a firework at any time. See the bright light of it, hear the crackle of excitement, feel it before it comes. Love is indeed always right around the corner, and it has so many forms. It’s hiding in plain sight; it’s already here; it’s just waiting for you to find it.
The secret: you are made of light (love) so it is indeed already with you. And so is the love of everyone who has ever loved you, and all of the love you’ve ever given or shared, and of every time you’ve loved yourself.
When I meet with clients for healing sessions, I have the immeasurable and profound privilege of getting to witness the love within them, the light within, reveal itself. It emerges as just what love is: the force that seeks only for their best, that mobilizes right away to help them, that has a deep embrace and wisdom and strength that never wanes. The beauty of the practice/work is this constant remembrance and reconnection. It heals.
You too hold this place within you. You are never lost.
You, heartkeeper of the love-flame, of the torch of hope, I wish you ease as we move through the season of letting go. Remember, as the darkness increases during this transition to the end of the year, that you hold a light that will never be extinguished.
Shining my light toward you,
Tiffany
P.S. If you need an affirmation to help you remember the light within you, this is one of my favorites.
